Kubernetes je svobodný systém pro orchestraci virtualizace na úrovni operačního systému. Původně jej vyvinula společnost Google a jako podřízené nástroje podporuje například Docker a rkt. Můžeme hovořit i o virtuální kontejnerizaci na úrovni OS.
Tento kurz připravuje studenty na zkoušku SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA) v SUSE Rancher 2.7, nově 2.8.
Tento třídenní kurz je určen pro systémové administrátory odpovědné za nasazení a správu více distribucí clusteru Kubernetes pomocí SUSE Rancher.
Kurz začíná úvodem do SUSE Rancher a jeho architektury. Studenti se poté naučí, jak získat přístup k aktualizovanému grafickému uživatelskému rozhraní SUSE Rancher. Během kurzu bude zaregistrován stávající cluster Kubernetes a nový cluster RKE bude zřízen se SUSE Rancher a budou představeny administrativní činnosti clusteru Kubernetes. Kurz také pokrývá správu clusteru Kubernetes a hostovaná nasazení poskytovatele Kubernetes ve veřejných cloudech.
Kurz zahrnuje prezentace o možnostech poskytování a správy SUSE Rancher a rozsáhlé praktické zkušenosti s laboratorními cvičeními.

This three day course is designed for system administrators responsible for deploying and administering multiple Kubernetes cluster distributions with SUSE Rancher.
The course begins with an introduction to SUSE Rancher and its architecture. Students will then learn how to access SUSE Rancher’s updated graphical user interface. During the course an existing Kubernetes cluster will be registered and a new RKE cluster will be provisioned with SUSE Rancher and Kubernetes cluster administrative activities will be introduced. The course also covers Kubernetes cluster management and hosted Kubernetes provider’s deployments in the public clouds.
The course includes presentations about the provisioning and administration capabilities of SUSE Rancher and extensive hands-on experience with lab exercises.
